Top 5 Sights in the U.S.

So the New Year has recently started so it’s time to plan out some sightseeing trips. I’ve decided to narrow it down to 5 locations in the United States that I definitely want to check out. I’m kind of a newbie when it comes to traveling all over the U.S. so this will be an amazing experience for me. I’ve traveled to a few cities in the Unites States, but I’ve never actually gone somewhere and done the whole sightseeing adventure. But 2016 is going to be different. 2016 will begin my obsession for sightseeing, traveling, and seeing what nature has to offer. I went ahead and did some research and made a list of the top 5 places I want to see first.

My top 5 destinations in the states:

1) Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon

As weird as it may sound, I’ve never been to the Grand Canyon. I want to explore the Grand Canyon like crazy! I’ll for sure be going on a water rafting tour. An adventure like that is hard to pass up. Even if I am a little afraid of the water, I have to try it out once. Go big or go home, right? A helicopter tour is a must if I want to get a full bird’s eye view of the Grand Canyon.

2) Yellow Stone National Park

Yellowstone National Park

I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing Old Faithful, the most famous of the geysers in Yellowstone. To be there in the middle of all that wilderness would be simple amazing. And the fact that it sits atop a volcanic hot spot sounds pretty cool. Between the lavish forests, vivid canyons, mountainous rivers, and all the animals at Yellowstone, I’ll certainly have a blast roaming my way around the park.

3) Central Park

Central Park

It’s sad to say that I’ve never been to New York City. One of the coolest things about New York City is Central Park and how that enormous park sits in the middle of the largest city in the U.S. It’s like 2 worlds colliding in a poetic way. I must see this in person.

4) Statue of Liberty

Statue of Liberty

As I go trough this list, I realize that I haven’t been to very many places at all. And the Statue of Liberty is up there on my list. The history that surrounds the State of Liberty is pretty extensive. I have to see what it feels like to stand in front of such a historic and beautiful structure.

5) Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls has one of those views that will simply take your breath away. Honestly, I’ll be a bit terrified by just how big that water fall really is. But that’s what makes it more exciting!!

As I go through this small list, I realize that I can knock out most of these destinations in one trip. I’m going to have to end this post now so I can start planning my trip!! Safe travels guys!
